More than three hundred twenty thousand people have now been evacuated across France and Spain as wildfires continue to spread, Euronews reports. In southwestern France alone, close to one thousand four hundred firefighters, one thousand five hundred military personnel, and one thousand seven hundred security forces have been deployed, backed by aerial firefighting support. The blazes were still growing as of Sunday, according to the outlet.
