Firefighters in France battle to prevent huge blaze from approaching Bordeaux

A massive wildfire in France's Gironde region is threatening to reach Bordeaux, after burning an area four times the size of Paris. The Guardian reports nearly two hundred twenty thousand people have already been evacuated, and windy conditions on Saturday night made it harder for firefighters to contain the blaze.
