Some high-earning investors will soon owe taxes on years of deferred capital gains

Per CNBC, an Opportunity Zone tax incentive that allows certain investors to defer taxes on reinvested capital gains will expire on December thirty-first. High-earning investors will then owe taxes on years of deferred gains.
