According to Boing Boing, France once had a king named John the First, known as the Posthumous, who reigned for his entire life—all four days of it. Born in November of thirteen sixteen, he ascended to the throne immediately and died four days later. John remains the youngest person ever to be king of France and the only monarch to reign from birth until death.
