Bordeaux under threat as France and Spain battle 'unprecedented' wildfires

The wildfire threatening Bordeaux was just fifteen kilometers from the city on Sunday, France 24 reports, as France and Spain battled blazes authorities are calling unprecedented. French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez used that word to describe the Bordeaux situation, while roughly three hundred thousand people have been displaced across both countries. Spain's Avila region, meanwhile, is facing its worst fire in recent history.
