Per Meduza, Ukrainian drones struck Wildberries logistics warehouses near St. Petersburg early on the morning of July 24, damaging facilities in the Shushary and Utkina Zavod areas. Authorities reported no injuries. Meduza spoke with an eyewitness near the Shushary site, who described a scene of controlled confusion: workers arriving for night shift gathered outside police-cordoned areas, asking security whether they'd be paid, whether they could get their things—questions that went unanswered. Employers never called. Mobile internet across St. Petersburg had been cut off, a now-routine pattern after drone strikes. Fires burned behind the police lines, firefighters worked inside the warehouse compound, but just one helicopter circled overhead—seemingly few resources for a fire of that scale.
