Olympic athletes to get cash grants from new $100m fund created by IOC

The International Olympic Committee has announced a new hundred million dollar fund designed to support athletes competing in the Olympic Games. Olympians from both Summer and Winter competitions can apply for ten thousand dollar grants after they compete. According to Al Jazeera, the initiative represents a direct financial assistance program for athletes participating in the Games.
