DCC, one of FTSE 100’s biggest energy firms, agrees £5.75bn takeover

One of the largest energy companies on the London Stock Exchange is going private. The Guardian reports that DCC Energy is being acquired by American private equity firms KKR and Energy Capital Partners for five point seven five billion pounds. The board recommended the deal despite concerns from the founder and biggest shareholders, adding to a growing exodus of UK companies from public markets.
