Daniel Adongo, the first Kenyan to play in the NFL, was deported to Kenya in June, according to The Guardian. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the former Indianapolis Colts linebacker overstayed a visa that expired in 2016 and had multiple arrests, while supporters argue he needed mental health treatment. Adongo played two games for the Colts after crossing over from rugby, and was cut in 2015 following domestic violence allegations.
