Homeless families in London temporary housing told not to use air conditioning

Homeless families placed in temporary housing at Britannia Point in Colliers Wood, southwest London, were told the building's built-in air conditioning wasn't available to them, according to the Guardian. During recent heatwaves, conditions grew so stifling that two children reportedly ended up hospitalized. The Guardian reports the managing company has since told households they can now use the air conditioning, after the case came to light.
