NASA Astronaut Chris Williams Returns to Earth

NASA reports that astronaut Chris Williams has returned to Earth after eight months aboard the International Space Station. During his first spaceflight, Williams supported scientific investigations and technology demonstrations, and completed two spacewalks — one to prepare the station's power system for upgrades and another to replace a faulty joint on the Canadarm2 robotic arm. He landed in Kazakhstan alongside Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev.
