According to Hacker News, Robert Martin—author of Clean Code and a programmer since the late nineteen sixties—has shared his strategy for AI-assisted development: don't read the code your agents write. Instead, he wraps them with extreme constraints: unit tests, behavior-driven tests in Gherkin, QA procedures, quality metrics, mutation testing, and coverage analysis. He says this battery of automated checks gives him high confidence in the output without requiring human code review.
