Witness to Houston ICE shooting must be released from immigration detention, judge orders

A federal judge has ordered the release of Jose Trinidad Rojas Pliego from immigration detention within forty-eight hours. He was a passenger in the van Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was driving when ICE agents fatally shot Araujo in Houston, and his account is expected to bear on that case, The Texas Tribune reports.
