entertainment
The beloved Australian comedy The Castle is set to take the stage. Per The Guardian, the 1997 film—which chronicled the Kerrigan family's fight against the Australian government to prevent their home from being demolished for airport expansion—will be adapted into a new theatrical production. The original creators from Working Dog, Rob Sitch, Tom Gleisner, Santo Cilauro, and Jane Kennedy, will write and co-produce the stage version, which will premiere in Melbourne in twenty twenty-seven.
