Civil Penalties Adjustment for 2026

In a Federal Register notice, the National Endowment for the Arts says it won't increase its civil monetary penalties for twenty twenty-six. The agency typically raises these penalties annually for inflation to enforce grant fraud violations and lobbying restrictions, but Office of Management and Budget guidance shows there will be no cost-of-living adjustment this year.
