As it braces for a new heatwave, Spain races to contain wildfires

A wildfire west of Madrid, near Avila, has become the largest to sweep through Spain this season, according to France 24, with more than fifty thousand hectares burned. Firefighters are racing to contain it as temperatures climb again, and Spain's prime minister has urged citizens to take extreme caution as a new heatwave bears down on the country.
