Fever's Clark exits with back issue, won't return

Caitlin Clark's performance was cut short in Wednesday's Fever loss to the Mercury. The star guard exited the game with a back issue and did not return, according to ESPN News. Fever coach Stephanie White was critical of the officiating afterward, claiming the refs missed two cheap shots against Clark — including one where Mercury's Alyssa Thomas appeared to push her fist into Clark's neck.
