Trump touts ‘strong and steadfast’ Lindsey Graham in eulogy at Washington DC funeral service – live

Lindsey Graham, the Republican senator who died earlier this month, was honored at a funeral in Washington DC on Tuesday, with Trump calling him "strong and steadfast" in his eulogy, The Guardian reports. Attendees included members of Congress along with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Later Tuesday, Trump and Zelenskyy were set for a closed-door meeting which, according to The Guardian, is expected to be far more cordial than their tense exchange last year, when Trump told Zelenskyy he didn't have the cards. The Guardian notes the shift follows a friendlier meeting between the two leaders at a NATO summit earlier this month.
