Georgia teen who killed four in school shooting sentenced to life in prison without parole

A Georgia judge sentenced Colt Gray to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Tuesday for a shooting at Apalachee High School that killed two students and two teachers, The Guardian reports. Gray, now sixteen, was fourteen years old when he opened fire at the school, about forty-five miles northeast of Atlanta, on September fourth, twenty twenty-four, and was charged as an adult. He pleaded guilty on Friday to fifty-five counts, including murder. The sentencing closes out the case nearly two years after the shooting.
