NSF selects five additional teams in National Quantum Virtual Laboratory design competition

science

The National Science Foundation yesterday selected five teams to design experimental quantum technologies as part of its National Quantum Virtual Laboratory initiative. The teams will tackle ambitious projects: quantum networks capable of shuttling delicate quantum information across long distances, and quantum sensors sensitive enough to detect faint atomic-scale properties. It's a significant investment in the infrastructure underpinning the emerging quantum computing ecosystem.
