Two dead in shopping mall hit by Japan quake

Two people have died after an earthquake struck the Kyushu region of Japan, with a shopping mall in Kumamoto among the sites hit, Channel NewsAsia reports. Regional officials say ten more people are unaccounted for at the mall. Kumamoto sits on Kyushu, one of Japan's main islands, an area no stranger to seismic activity.
