Freehand Raises $75M Series B To Automate Fortune 500 Supply Chain Spend

Enterprise AI startup Freehand has raised seventy-five million dollars in a Series B funding round to expand its autonomous agents that manage supply chain spend and back-office operations for major corporations. Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners co-led the round, bringing Freehand's total funding to one hundred million dollars. The startup was founded by Nitin Jayakrishnan and Abhijeet Manohar, logistics veterans who previously built and sold Pando, a supply chain software platform. Crunchbase News reports that Freehand now works with fifty customers including Meta, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer, and the company says its AI agents have recovered five to ten percent of total spend for clients and completed complex operational workflows five to seven times faster.
