NSF partners with universities and industry on pilot initiative for four-year Ph.D. programs with real-world research placements

The National Science Foundation is committing forty-seven million dollars over five years to a pilot program offering four-year Ph.D. degrees paired with real-world research placements. Nearly three dozen universities and industry partners are providing additional financial support to the initiative.
