‘Not yet. But we’ll see’: Zelensky on whether Crimea’s return is being discussed in talks to end the war
world
Ukrainian President Zelensky says Crimea's return is not currently part of peace negotiations, but he's not ruling it out. Zelensky told Fox News that when asked whether the peninsula was "back on the table," he replied, "Not yet. But we'll see." Meduza reports this came during recent meetings in Washington with President Trump and senators, where he appeared to make the case that Ukraine could still win the war. Zelensky emphasized that while Ukraine won't legally recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea, any restoration to Ukrainian control would require diplomatic solutions and can only happen after the war ends. Preventing further loss of life, he said, is the immediate priority.
