Reform UK councillor charged after alleged racist social media post

Glenn Gibbins, a Reform UK councillor representing Sunderland, has been charged after posting an alleged racist comment about Nigerian people on social media. Per Northumbria police, the charge comes under the Communications Act two thousand three. The charges follow his reinstatement to the party, which had investigated his earlier conduct.
