‘The Master and Margarita’ Adaptation Gets Long-Awaited U.S. Theatrical Release After Legal Battle (EXCLUSIVE)

Variety confirms that director Michael Lockshin's Russian-language adaptation of 'The Master and Margarita' is finally heading to American theaters. After a lengthy legal battle, Luminosity Pictures will release the film starting September eighteenth. Based on Mikhail Bulgakov's seminal novel, it follows the story of a writer in nineteen-thirties Moscow.
