Comey alleges Trump pushed prosecution over ‘8647’ seashell post

politics

Former FBI director James Comey's lawyers alleged on Tuesday that the US Secret Service illegally surveilled him during his prosecution and that Donald Trump — who fired Comey during his first term — requested regular updates on the investigation. According to Comey's motion to dismiss, his legal team also claims that law enforcement consulted ChatGPT and a known mafia killer while building the case against him. The Department of Justice charged Comey in April, alleging that a photograph he posted of seashells spelling out eight, six, four, seven was a threat on the president's life.
