Arthouse platform Mubi is publishing a book about 'Faust,' the silent cinema masterpiece from one hundred years ago. According to Variety, 'The Faust Bible' will reveal archival material long thought lost, giving filmmakers and film lovers fresh insight into how director F.W. Murnau created the work. The book comes from Mubi's publishing division in partnership with the Cinémathèque française—a rare chance to rediscover a century-old classic through its lost history.
