U.S. Senate unanimously opposes Ghislaine Maxwell pardon

Boing Boing reports the U.S. Senate has unanimously come out against a rumored pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker linked to President Trump's long-running Epstein controversy. The rumor holds that Trump would pardon Maxwell in exchange for her "exonerating" him over his friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell has already been moved to a more comfortable prison, and has reportedly worked on a commutation application toward that same end.
