Online watchdog takes Telegram to court over terrorism videos

The eSafety Commissioner is taking Telegram to court, alleging the platform failed to meet its legal obligations by letting terrorism-related videos remain online, including footage of the Christchurch mosque massacre. The case was filed Thursday. Australia's eSafety Commissioner is the government regulator tasked with enforcing online safety laws against tech platforms.
