Japan's earthquake death toll has climbed to at least twenty-three, The Guardian reports, as soldiers and emergency workers keep searching a badly damaged shopping mall and collapsed houses in Kyushu's Kumamoto prefecture. The magnitude six point eight quake struck on Tuesday and has injured at least sixty-two people, according to the prefectural government, with that number steadily growing.
