Comcast-Owned Sky Agrees on Terms to Buy ITV’s Broadcast and Streaming Unit (Report)

Sky, Comcast's British pay-TV operator, is buying ITV's broadcast and streaming division for one point six billion pounds—roughly two point one billion U-S dollars. According to Reuters, ITV Studios would remain independent. It's another major consolidation in U-K broadcasting, bringing traditional network operations under Sky's expanding pay-TV empire.
