Wildfires in Greece: blaze out of control in Rethymno, Crete

Wildfires are raging out of control near Rethymno on Crete, where more than two hundred twenty firefighters are struggling to contain the blaze as strong winds ground aerial water drops. According to Euronews, funerals were held Thursday for two firefighters killed battling the flames, while on the island of Lesbos, fires near Plomari continue to flare up.
