Russia strikes Kyiv, Lviv, and Kryvyi Rih with missiles; at least two children among the dead

Russia launched overnight missile strikes on Kyiv, Lviv, and the Kryvyi Rih area, killing at least six people and injuring dozens more, Meduza reports. In Kyiv, ballistic missiles struck residential districts, killing one person and sparking fires, while a strike in the Kyiv region partially destroyed a private home. A missile hit on Lviv injured at least twenty-six people and damaged more than twenty residential buildings along with a school and two kindergartens, according to the city's mayor. Near Kryvyi Rih, a strike on a private home killed five people, including two children, per Ukraine's State Emergency Service. Russia's Defense Ministry said the strikes targeted military airfields and defense industry sites across several regions.
