Fires in Europe live: France gives green light for 84,000 evacuees to return home

French authorities on Thursday cleared eighty-four thousand evacuees to return home after a massive wildfire forced them from their homes in the country's southwest. More than two hundred twenty thousand people had fled homes or holiday accommodation since the blaze broke out, France 24 reports.
