Attack on northwest Pakistan police post kills 11 officers

A police post in Pakistan's Hangu district, in the northwest, came under attack on Thursday, leaving eleven officers dead. Al Jazeera English reports fifteen attackers were also killed in the hours-long raid. The region has long seen periodic militant violence targeting security forces.
