Texas could send a record four GOP women to Congress — if they make it through November

Per the Texas Tribune, Texas could send a record four Republican women to Congress, provided they win in November. Two of the nominees—Alex Mealer and Jessica Steinmann—are favored in neighboring Houston-area districts. If both advance, it would mark that milestone for the state's January delegation.
