Election fears run rampant as November nears: poll
politics
Axios reports that a new Gallup poll shows Americans are deeply anxious about election integrity as they head into the midterms — and the concern spans the political spectrum. Seventy-seven percent of Democrats and fifty-six percent of Republicans worry that politicians will pressure election officials to change race outcomes. Eighty percent report concern that political leaders might take illegal actions, while similar majorities fret about anonymous political donations and gerrymandering. Nearly three-quarters say they're worried about multiple aspects of the election process, with some even concerned about personal safety while voting.
