In 1992, BBC ran a fake live ghost hunt and freaked out viewers

entertainment

Boing Boing reports that in nineteen ninety-two, the BBC broadcast what looked like a live investigation of a haunted house in a London suburb, with presenter Michael Parkinson anchoring from the studio and Sarah Greene reporting from the family's home.
