Trump says he may ‘temporarily’ drop bid to make Blanche attorney general

The Guardian reports that President Trump is considering a temporary withdrawal of his attorney general nominee, Todd Blanche, who faces resistance from Republican senators. Blanche is currently serving in the role on an acting basis. Trump indicated he would have no objection to pulling Blanche's nomination until the dissenting Republicans leave office.
