Russian teen, 13, found with 22-year-old man she met online, sent home only a week later

A thirteen-year-old girl from near Serpukhov, Russia, has been reunited with her family, more than a week after she was found roughly ninety-three miles from home with a twenty-two-year-old man police say she'd met online. Msk1.ru reports she vanished on July nineteenth, prompting a village search that located her on July twenty-second, but investigators kept her at a rehabilitation center and initially blocked even her mother from seeing her. Her mother, Natalya, says the girl came home on July twenty-ninth and is resting and recovering, though details of what happened during the disappearance remain undisclosed. The man's connection to the case and whether he faces charges have not been made public, and the mother says she expects the investigation to stay classified to the end.
