The bottom line: Everything is in play. Control of Congress is a toss-up, the twenty twenty-eight presidential field is wide open, and both parties are deeply unpopular. In a new Gallup poll, more than three-quarters of Americans said the nation's founders would be disappointed with how the country has turned out.
