Ex-White House counsel says Epstein accuser’s testimony ‘lacked inherent credibility’

Per The Guardian, Kathryn Ruemmler — a former White House counsel and ex-general counsel of Goldman Sachs — told a House committee that some allegations by Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre lacked credibility. Ruemmler's name appeared thousands of times in Epstein-related records released by the Justice Department earlier this year, and Giuffre's family has criticized her statements.
