K2 Space raises $500 million for commercial, defense satellite expansion

K2 Space has raised five hundred million dollars in Series D funding for commercial and defense satellite production, SpaceNews reports. The investment more than doubles the company's valuation in seven months and will support a production ramp to one hundred large satellites a year.
