Trump says he may pull Blanche’s attorney general nomination until Cornyn leaves office

Per the Texas Tribune, President Trump said Thursday he may withdraw attorney general nominee Todd Blanche's nomination unless Senator John Cornyn leaves office. Trump suggested Cornyn was holding up the nomination because Trump had endorsed Ken Paxton over him. Cornyn denied that political history influenced his position on Blanche.
