NBC Prepares for Spin-Off By Hiring Christopher Halpin as CFO

NBCUniversal is set to spin off from Comcast within a year. The media conglomerate has named Christopher Halpin as its new chief financial officer, per Variety, starting September eighth and reporting to Comcast's co-CEO, Mike Cavanagh.
