Amazon’s Zoox secures US federal approval for steering-wheel-free robotaxis

Amazon's robotaxi subsidiary Zoox has secured federal approval to operate fully autonomous vehicles without a steering wheel, Al Jazeera reports. The company plans to launch its commercial robotaxi service in Las Vegas following the clearance.
