Veteran Reality Exec Mike Darnell Seals Overall Deal at Netflix, Where He’ll Also Provide Guidance on the Streamer’s Unscripted Slate

Veteran reality television producer Mike Darnell has signed an exclusive, multi-year overall deal with Netflix, where he'll both develop new unscripted content and advise the platform on its existing slate. Variety says Darnell is working closely with Brandon Riegg, Netflix's vice president of nonfiction series and sports, who recruited him to the platform.
