‘A car in the bus!’: Toyota becomes airborne and then wedged in side of Brisbane bus

A blue Toyota Yaris turned into an unlikely projectile Wednesday evening in Rocklea, Brisbane's south, when it hit a traffic island and shot into the air before crashing into the side of a Queensland council bus. The impact left the back of the car wedged in the bus's side. The Guardian reports that Queensland police fined the driver of another vehicle they say caused the Yaris to swerve into the island in the first place.
