Sony Pictures Revenue Drops 13% in June Quarter, Music Segment Sales Jump 21%

Sony Pictures revenue fell thirteen percent in the June quarter, Variety reports. The decline was partially offset by growth at the anime platform Crunchyroll and a twenty-one percent jump in Sony's music segment. PlayStation had flat sales for the period, but operating income there surged thirty-seven percent—largely due to U.S. tariff refunds rather than underlying business growth.
